According to reports, rapper Yung Joc appeared on stage with a testimony.

Host of the event, Cory “CoCo Brother” Condrey, asked everyone to pray for the rapper who was there with his two year-old son and five year-old daughter.

Everyone dropped to their knees or stood in place, tossing their hands toward the sky.

The event, called the Exodus, is a revival for youth.  The host, Condrey, has a nationally syndicated radio show, “The Spirit of Hip-Hop,” and he often marries Hip-Hop and Gospel together. He uses well known rappers for their celebrity status, putting them in the forefront to spread the Gospel to youth.

On his radio show, Condrey has held interviews and prayer sessions with rappers such as 50 cent, Ludacris, Kanya West and Young Jeezy. The show has also featured guest appearances from Gospel stars such as Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams and Smokie Norful.

Exodus is a free event drawing between 3,000 to 7,000 fans. For more information on the event or about Condrey’s radio show log onto www.thespiritofhiphop.com.
