BLIGE LAUNCHES WOMEN'S SUPPORT NETWORK: Singer teams with music exec Steve Stout for org. aimed at boosting self esteem.

      *Mary J Blige and music executive Steve Stoute are scheduled to hold a press conference in New York Friday to announce their new initiative FFAWN: the Mary J. Blige and Steve Stoute Foundation For the Advancement of Women Now, Inc.       

       Founded by Blige, the organization aims to help women reach their full potential through scholarships, grants, and programs that foster strong self-esteem, career development and personal growth.      

       In addition to Blige, the organization’s board of directors will include Stoute, Kendu Isaacs, Jada Pinkett Smith, Charles Wright, Lisa Price and Samantha Fink.       

       The press conference will be held at Roosevelt High School in Blige's hometown of Yonkers, New York. FFAWN will initially focus its efforts in Yonkers and surrounding communities in Westchester, before expanding to the Greater New York area and the rest of the country.
