CELEBRATING A PASTOR AFTER GOD'S OWN HEART: Detroit's Liberty Temple Baptist Church’s two-week long has begun.

The Fourth Anniversary Celebration, presented by Liberty Temple Baptist Church, is “Celebrating a Pastor After God’s Own Heart.”

The event is hosted by Rev. Dr. D Steve Bland Jr. and is being held from Sunday, May 18 and ends Sunday, June 1.

Celebration services on Sunday, May 18 at 7:45 a.m. are with Rev. Robert Moses/Son of Liberty Temple Baptist Church, 10:45 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Brenda J. Little/Bethany Baptist Church of Christ and 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Larry Smith/New St. Mark Baptist Church. On Thursday, May 22nd at 7:00 p.m. services are with Rev. Orville Littlejohn/ Messiah Baptist Church; on Sunday, May 25th at 7:45 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. with Rev. Frank McSwain/Mt. Piagah Baptist Church; on Thursday, May 29th at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Nathaniel Caldwell/Greater Burnette Baptist Church, and Saturday, May 31st at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ira Wheaton/Greater Omega Baptist Church and 6:00 p.m. with Liberty Temple Baptist Church Mass Choir Concert.

The celebrations end on Sunday, June 1, which offers a 7:45 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. service with Rev. Dr. Joe L. Stevenson/Macedonia New Life Baptist Church and a 4:00 p.m. service with Rev. Dr. James C. Perkins/Greater Christ Baptist Church.
