MARIAH CAREY 'LAUGHS' AT $4 MILLION WEDDING RUMOR: But she doesn't deny that another ceremony is being planned.
*Mariah Carey is literally laughing at recent reports that she's planning to have a $4 million wedding ceremony this summer in New York City.
In a statement to MTV.co.uk she writes, "4 milly? (million) On what? Cake? LOL (laugh out loud)."
While chuckling at the rumored price tag, the new wife of actor/rapper Nick Cannon did not deny that another ceremony was being planned. She has already said as much in recent interviews, as well as to Ellen Degeneres during a recent appearance on her talk show.
As reported yesterday, MSNBC.com quoted "a source" who claimed that Nick and Mariah were planning the lavish $4 million affair for the benefit of family and friends who weren't invited to the secret nuptials last month.
