*In the wake of a unanimous resolution passed by the New York State Assembly last week, "No Profanity Day" will be celebrated in the Bronx today with a curse-free concert hosted by Kurtis Blow. Sponsored by VisitFlorida.com, the three-hour concert kickoff to the No Profanity Hip-Hop Anniversary Tour will be held at Utopia’s Paradise Theater and feature a lineup of old school acts, including Afrika Bambaataa & the Soul Sonic Force, Grand Wizard Theodore, Grandmaster Mele Mel, Lovebug Starski, and Kurtis Blow himself. Also scheduled to perform are Spoonie Gee, Rob Base, Dana Dane, DJ Hollywood, Positive K, the Force MDs and The Air Force Crew. A prayer service is scheduled to begin today's events at the Greater Hood Memorial AME Zion Church in Harlem. The concert starts at 8 p.m. tonight.
