NILE RODGERS TO PEN LIFE STORY: Producer writing memoir about past drug use, alcohol addiction and being newborn of a 14-year-old mother.

      *Nile Rodgers, the super producer who founded disco band Chic and created hits for such artists as Sister Sledge, Diana Ross and Madonna, will share his incredible life story in a new memoir.

       Through publisher Julie Grau, the musician's book will include his reflections on being born to a 14-year-old mother, growing up in Greenwich Village in the '60s and dropping acid with Timothy Leary at 13, according to the New York Post.      

       Rodgers will also discuss how he beat a crippling addiction to alcohol and drugs.
