APPLE STORES TO STAGE BLACK MUSIC MONTH SHOWS: Performers include Wyclef, MC Lyte, Talib Kweli and Michelle Williams.(June 5, 2008)
*In recognition of Black Music Month, Apple is putting a twist on its regular iTunes Live concerts held at their stores across the country and will host a variety of musical events featuring African American artists. Among the performers tapped to rock Apple stores are Wyclef Jean (New York's SoHo - June 9, 7 p.m.), MC Lyte (Santa Monica, Calif.'s Third Street Promenade - June 20, 7 p.m.), Talib Kweli (Apple Store, New York's SoHo - June 25, 6 p.m.), and former Destiny's Child member Michelle Williams (Chicago's North Michigan Avenue, June 28, 7 p.m.).
