SOLANGE KNOWLES BREAKS HER FOOT: Mechanical malfunction took place before Sunday concert in Kansas City, Mo.
*One thing about the Knowles sisters, they sure know how to make an entrance. Last July, Beyonce fell down the stairs during a gig in Orlando. Now, nearly a year later, her sister Solange breaks her foot during a show in Kansas City, Mo.
The singer was about to take the stage on June 1 when a large piece of metal fell from the doorway and landed right on her foot. Like her older sister, she got up and kept it moving, albeit in "extreme pain," as her rep puts it.
She performed the entire set on a foot that she later found out had been broken. After the show, Solange was taken to a nearby Missouri hospital where she was fitted with a cast.
Instead of cancelling the remaining dates of her Art of Love tour, Solange will continue on with a decreased amount of dance numbers, per doctor's orders. Most of the set will feature the singer belting tunes while sitting on a stool.
