*Spike Lee is the executive producer of a new indie film about a rocker who goes into seclusion after his sophomore album tanks.

"The Perfect Age of Rock 'n' Roll" stars Kevin Zegers as the musician who retreats to his home in Long Island after sales of his second album aren't quite as high as expected.

Jason Ritter has joined the film, which includes appearances by rocker Billy Morrison and blues legends Pinetop Perkins, Hubert Sumlin and Sugar Blue, reports Variety.

Peter Fonda, Taryn Manning, Lauren Holly, Aimee Teegarden and James Ransone round out the cast.
