     *With a fresh marriage license in their pockets, "American Idol" champ Ruben Studdard and his fiancée Surata Zuri McCants are planning a huge wedding in his Birmingham hometown this weekend.      

       The singer, 29, tells People that he'll have at least 20 groomsmen at his side during the ceremony at Canterbury United Methodist Church in the Mountainbrook neighborhood of Birmingham.        

       The fellas, including Studdard, will wear black Joseph Abboud tuxedos from local outfitter Mr. Burch Formal Wear, according to a source. The groomsmen will wear black shirts with black vests while Studdard will wear a white vest and a white hand-tied bow tie, according to People.

       As previously reported, Studdard and McCants, 30, obtained a marriage license Monday at the Shelby County Probate Office in Columbiana, Ala.
