LIONSGATE RELEASES 'HOPEVILLE' ON DVD: Must-see concert event arrives at stores July 29.
“Hopeville,” the original U.S. tour that was launched in 2003 and then as re-launched in 2004, is now on DVD.
“Hopeville” is a must-see concert event that features the biggest names in Gospel – Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams and Donnie McClurkin.
The production is a dynamic story of friendship and commitment between three childhood friends, from the make-believe remote town of “Hopeville.”
Although young, three friends were determined to make their big dreams a reality. One aspired to be a preacher; another was determined to change the world with her singing, and one wanted to break out of his unorthodox nature.
Years later the three friends reunite for an unforgettable evening of praise, worship, laughter, hand clapping and foot-stomping. This two-hour melding of fourteen amazing, soul-stirring performances includes hits such as “I’m Gonna Be Ready,” “We Fall Down,” and “Bright Day.”
