WINNER OF THE GOSPEL DREAM 2008 ANNOUNCED: Melinda Watts wins Gospel Music Channel’s Gospel competition.

The winner of Gospel Music Channel’s Gospel Dream 2008 is Melinda Watts.
Watts is a high school teacher at Sacramento’s Luther Burbank High School.
She is also a mother to a five month-old daughter, Lyric.
Gospel Dream 2008 was a reality show that searched the country for an inspirational Gospel singer. Melinda grew up singing in a Baptist church in her hometown Bridgeton, NJ.
She won a weeklong Royal Caribbean cruise, a recording contract with a major label, and the opportunity to work with some of the biggest names in Christian music.
