WORD CHRISTIAN WRITERS CONFERENCE 2008: Second Ebenezer Church in Detroit this Friday and Saturday.
The Word Urban Christian Writers Conference 2008 will be this weekend on August 8 and 9, 2008 at Second Ebenezer Church, 14601 Dequindre, Detroit (48212). It is presented by Vanguard Community Development Corporation, The Creation Station CGIC and 4 Word, Inc.
The conference is calling all Christian writers (fiction and non-fiction), poets and playwrights to participate in the contests and workshops as well as attend the Word Short Film Festival.
If you are a frustrated Christian writer this is the event for you. The answer is in the Word. The purpose of the conference is to bring together Urban Christian authors to glorify God by enlisting, equipping and empowering them to spread the Gospel using the written word.
The conference's goal is to teach the business of Christian writing; how to tell your story; how to retail your story, and much more.
