BISHOP LEONARD SCOTT ON TV THIS SATURDAY: Tyscot Records founder on WGN’s '2008 Singsation International Gospel Humanitarian Awards.'

     Tyscot Records founder Bishop Leonard Scott will perform a couple of songs and present an award this Saturday, August 9, 2008 on the “2008 Singsation International Gospel Humanitarian Awards.”

     The show will air at 6:00 p.m. EST/5:00 p.m. CST nationally on the Superstation WGN.

     Bishop Scott will perform songs from this latest CD release “Be Lifted Up.” Scott also just taped a performance on Bobby Jones Gospel (on BET) which will air this fall.

     Bishop Leonard Scott’s latest CD/DVD, “Be Lifted Up,” on Tyscot Records, hit stores this spring and is included in the Top 20 on Billboard’s Gospel Charts.

     “Be Lifted Up” features contributions from Darwin Hobbs; Dove Award winner Rachel Lampa; The Calvary Temple Praise Choir and more. Scott has also written and recorded with Deitrick Haddon, Rev. John P. Kee, Brooklyn Tabernacle, Israel Houghton, Gary Oliver and Albertina Walker to name a few.
