Debut Gospel recording artist D’Morea Johnson is ready to launch into his new beginning with this release “I Am Love.”
The first single from his forthcoming debut release - “This Poor Man Cried…” - is set to have the international Christian community and lovers of Gospel/Christian music, with uplifted hands and hearts, prepared for a new beginning of spiritual rededication. “I Am Love” is the Gospel rendition of the 1983 chart topping Jennifer Holliday recording.
Consumers will be able to download the radio single including, two instrumental versions, from their favorite digital music provider. Consumers will also have the opportunity to purchase the CD single exclusive online from Realmology Music Store.
D’Morea Johnson is a Bronx, New York native having career extension from theatre, television, radio and literary endeavors. D’Morea believes the launch of his music career is timely and well overdue. He humbly testifies to being a repented backslidden vocalist, who has disregarded his vocal gift in pursuit of other career interests.
D’Morea Johnson made international acclaim with the release of his provocative non-fiction title “The Price Tag – Are Congregants Now Paying for the Word?” (Realmology Books), an informative and educational book penned for congregants around the world offering healing for the broken in spirit stemmed from religious maltreatment, including a special dedication for the backslidden and those whom choose to forsake church worship.

Many may also recognize D’Morea as executive producer/promoter of the 2006 Concert Series Gospel on Broadway at the Gotham Hall in New York City.
