PAUL PORTER RELEASES SOLO ALBUM: Lead singer of The Christianaires' debut CD in stores on September 30.(September 4, 2008)
For 30 years Paul Porter has been the lead singer of the legendary gospel quartet, The Christianaires. On September 30th he releases his debut solo album, "A New Day," on Light Records. "I told Him when I got off my sick bed; I would testify everywhere I went," Paul Porter said. "My Redeemer Lives," "I'll Praise You," and "I Know a Man" are songs where Paul shares his faithfulness to God. The song "What Did You Do," written by Porter, is a traditional hand-clapping, aisle dancing song that feels like Sunday morning. The 'must get up and dance' song helps listeners go back and remember what they did when the Lord saved them.
