TINA TURNER ADDS TOUR DATES: Performer tacks on Dallas, and Houston; books Dec show in Madison Square Garden.
*Tina Turner will now spend more than half a year on the road after adding several dates to the North American leg of her upcoming tour.
New additions to the schedule include dates in Dallas (10/26) and Houston (10/27), and a Dec. 1 show in New York's Madison Square Garden. Turner has also added second nights in several cities, including Atlanta (11/9-10), Washington, D.C. (11/23-24) and Toronto (12/12-13).
Tickets for the new shows in Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Detroit, Philadelphia, New York and Washington, D.C., will go on sale to the public beginning Sept. 15.
As previously reported, the tour launches Oct. 1 in Kansas City, MO. After wrapping in North America, the show continues overseas for a European run that stretches through next spring.
