MICHELLE OBAMA DISHES WITH PAULA DEEN: Barack's wife visits Food Network host; cooks seafood gumbo.
*During a recent taping of the Food Network show "Paula's Party," Michelle Obama joined down home host Paula Deen to whip up a meal that she once cooked for her husband, Sen. Barack Obama, when they first began dating.
"It was an impressive first attempt ... I must have really been in love," Obama told Deen of her attempt to make seafood gumbo – which includes lobster, shrimp and mussels. "No, I haven't cooked it since."
"It was so good that once was enough," Deen responded, according to People.com.
The Savannah, GA cook said of her time with the senator's wife: "She was everything I thought she would be: Smart, great sense of humor and loves to talk about family."
The "Paula's Party" episode featuring Michelle Obama is scheduled to air on Sept. 20.
