"Seems like no one knew exactly what was going to take place. It had been a hush, hush kept secret.  Everyone in my circle was asking one another what is this I wantpeace.com?"

*On Friday night Paramount Studios Bronson Gate was transformed into a vision of Cairo nights.

There at the entrance a huge white carpet instead of the traditional red was set to match the long white sheer curtains that draped a courtyard setting, with a beautiful pool size water fountain, lighted with intricately carved multi-colored transparent glass and brass Egyptian/Moroccan hanging lanterns.

Table settings were adorned with white roses and guests were seated on plush white furniture. The music was very enchanting with a Mid-East influence and several flat TV monitors were showing an excerpt of the surprise yet to come. Seems like no one knew exactly what was going to take place. It had been a hush, hush kept secret.

Everyone in my circle was asking one another what is this, I wantpeace.com?  Seems like no one knew what it was all about, only that one of the greatest actors and comedians in Hollywood today was inviting high profile celebrities to come and hear his announcement.

Foxx's influence is at an all time high and when Jamie Foxx summons, the masses are complying.  I was making a million guesses what it might be all about. Frankly, I had hoped it was Obama related, but it was not.

The mystery loomed in the air but I busied myself with tasting all the delicacies that included sushi, Chinese chicken salad, some tasty fried sweet potatoes sticks, mini hamburgers, chicken on a stick, skewered beef on a stick and piled high assorted cold cuts and vegetables. It was magnificent. Of course the bar was complimentary and fully stocked catering to a discerning Hollywood crème de la crème crowd.

There were so many celebrities including: Vanessa Williams, Claudia Jordan, Annie "McFunny" McKnight (co-starring in The Soloist with Jamie Foxx), actress/director Penny Marshall, Justin Martin (starring in the Soloist with Jamie Foxx), comedian John Witherspoon, Gary Sturgis, Bai Ling, Vida Guerra, Kat Kramer (daughter of legendary filmmaker Stanley Kramer), actress Sophia Milos, track star Maurice Green, Erica Hubbard (Lincoln Heights), Manuel Jackson, actress Mary Carey, cutie pie Tiffany (New York) Pollard (who is as sweet as she can be) and many others.

After eating and just stuffing my face and talking to many of the guests for about an hour, Jamie Foxx arrived and he lit up the white carpet with all the photogs shooting their flashes at the mega star's direction at the same time.  Once situated at the entrance of the courtyard guests swarmed Jamie and everyone was trying to get into that money shot.

Shortly after, everyone was invited into the theatre and the mystery of the evening unraveled.  There Jamie Foxx announced and introduced singer and peace activist

Fred Nassiri and his new music/ film project "Love Sees No Color" that took Nassiri around the world singing and inviting all nations to sing along with him for one goal…peace.  The setting was famous landmarks in many countries such as the Taj Majal and Pyramids as Nassiri sang his heart out with people of the world of all colors, nationalities and different religious beliefs, Hindus, Jews, Muslims, just everyone together singing or keeping the beat with their instruments and drums. It was truly beautiful to see and hear.  Then after the film was over which lasted about 30 minutes, the audience comprised of the industry's top brass was treated to music from the Agape Youth Choir. The children were energetic and passionate. It was moving. Peace seems elusive like a dream, but one that Nassiri is working tirelessly to make a reality. He has promised to work toward uniting nations and through his website www.iwantpeace.com that will serve as an inter-link for the world and his music "Love Sees No Color" he is demonstrating leadership for a massive peace movement.

I couldn't help but notice the name "Eassa" Nassiri in the credits as producer since it's the same pronounced name as my son (ISA) which means Jesus.  Later I had an opportunity to congratulate singer/peace activist Fred Nassiri and Eassa Nassiri (who I later found out was Fred's son).

In my heart, I am a peace activist and always have been and cry at the drop of a hat to see any inhumanity to another. I hate war, detest killing, and crime. Taking a human life is such an atrocity to me and I shudder at weapons. I was so elated to be part of the crowd on this night and hopefully through this report, others will reach out to Nassiri via www.iwantpeace.com or log on to www.nassirimusic.com

I never heard of the man called Nassiri before this night but

Jamie Foxx was the catalyst that brought about this phenomenal evening shedding light on a subject we need to remember everyday. Now celebrities need to go forth with this issue on their tongues. Both Foxx and Nassiri and young filmmaker Eassa are on the right track, the right footing and the right mindset.

It made me reflect on the Spielberg film Amistad where actor Djimon Hounsou as the slave Cinque' emphatically shouts out

"Give me Free!" I remember crying like a baby because his desperate plea touched my heart.

At the end of the evening servers circulated with trays of cookies. I ate a few. Oh, for a glass of milk I thought. Gift bags were handed out with many items that included T-shirts, water and jewelry.

I also had a chance to meet two of the children in the Agape choir (pictured in this story).

Now and forever, "I want peace!"  - Kleo Out.

Shout outs t Jon O. and Giovanni
