NATALIE COLE RELEASED FROM HOSPTIAL: Songstress back at L.A. home after treatment for kidney ailment.
*Natalie Cole is out of the hospital and resting at her Los Angeles home today following treatment for a kidney ailment.
The 58-year-old singer was admitted to a New York hospital on Sept. 12, and had been receiving kidney dialysis that is not related to her struggle with hepatitis C, a liver disease spread through contact with infected blood.
At the time of Cole's hospitalization, her rep blamed the singer's problems on the medicine she had been taking and a busy publicity schedule to promote her new album, "Still Unforgettable."
According to her publicist, Maureen O'Connor, Cole checked out early last week and is "feeling a lot better."
As previously reported, Cole canceled her singing appearances through the end of the month. O'Connor said she did not know when she will hit the road again in support of the disc.
