GOOD SHEPHERD WESLEYAN CHURCH HOST GOSPEL CONCERT: On Wednesday Nashville church features the Palmetto State Quartet

     Good Shepherd Wesleyan Church (GSWC) will host a southern Gospel concert Wednesday, October 8, 2008 featuring the Palmetto State Quartet. On Sunday, October 05, 2008 it featured Ernie Couch and Revival.

     In their third visit to GSWC, the featured performers, a Grammy-nominated band and vocal group, brought a high-energy show of Christian music to fans of all ages.

     Based out of Nashville, Tennessee, the group has recorded with George Beverly Shea and George Jones, among many others.

     On Wednesday, Oct. 8th at 7:00 p.m. the church will host the Palmetto State Quartet. A group known for their rich blend of classic voices, the quartet garnered their name' from the palmetto tree in South Carolina, where they originated.

     A quartet that appreciates the value of Christian entertainment, the Palmetto State Quartet's primary focus is of a divine nature. Their mission is to meet people at their point of need, knowing one word or one song might change a life forever.

     A love offering will be collected to help the groups with expenses. Good Shepherd Wesleyan Church is at 1505 Railroad Drive, at the corner of Saliman Road.
