'AMERICAN IDOL'S' PARIS BENNETT IS A MOM: Princess P gave birth to a daughter on Monday.
*Former "American Idol" finalist Paris Bennett, a.k.a. "Princess P," gave birth this week to a 5-pound, 15-ounce baby girl she has named Egypt.
"I'm so excited to finally see my little angel – and man, does she have lungs on her," Bennett, 20, said of her newborn. "I guess she's gearing up to be the next American Idol."
After five hours of labor, her first child arrived at 3:36 p.m. Monday afternoon at a Minneapolis hospital.
"Paris’s mother Jamecia Bennett and her family are filled with excitement and welcome their bundle of joy,” Paris' rep said in a statement.
Paris announced her pregnancy in June, but chose not to reveal the identity of the baby's father. She told the Minneapolis Star Tribune at the time that he "chooses not to be in the public eye."
