T.D. JAKES HOLDS REVIVAL IN SOUTH AFRICA: Minister and pastor of Dallas mega-church spreads God’s Word internationally this weekend.

The Associated Press in Johannesburg, South Africa announced that Bishop T.D. Jakes, founder and pastor of The Potter’s House has asked Americans to pray beyond their borders.

The minister of a Dallas mega-church said he's taking steps to go beyond American borders with the Word with a revival meeting in South Africa this weekend.

According to the report in an interview Thursday in Johannesburg, Jakes said the current “global” economic crisis shows how connected Americans are with the rest of the world.

It will be the first time T.D. Jakes has taken his event outside the United States. The meeting includes a religious revival, a self-help fair and a Gospel concert. (source: KDBC/AP)
