WINNERS ANNOUNCED FOR ONLINE HIP-HOP AWARDS 2008: Lil Wayne, Soulja Boy, and Danity Kane Lead the pack with multiple awards.
*New York, New York - December 10, 2008 - The Online Hip-Hop Awards 2008, a multi-media, "people's choice" awards ceremony that honors the best and most innovative in Hip-Hop, announced today its winners in 30 Categories as determined by the fans.
The winners in all categories were presented online by Donnell Rawlings (Chappelle's Show) and Angela Yee (Sirius Radio) at http://www.sohh.com/ohha/
Lil Wayne took home 4 awards, the most of any artist, including Album of the Year Award (Hip-Hop), Artist of the Year Award (Hip-Hop), Off the Hook Award (Hip-Hop) and Collabo of the Year, along with T.I, Jay-Z and Kanye West for "Swagger Like Us."
Soulja Boy was close behind, racking up three awards for King of the Net, Digital Download of the Year Award (Hip-Hop) and Artist Website of the Year Award.
Danity Kane emerged victorious with 2 awards in the categories Artist of the Year Award (R&B) and Off the Hook Award (R&B).
The Online Hip-Hop Awards 2008 (http://www.onlinehiphopawards.com/) received hundreds of thousands of votes from September 15 - November 20, 2008 to nominate the finalists and ultimately determine the winners for fans favorites in Hip-Hop in a broad spectrum of 30 categories, including music, celebrity, best of the web and community.
