*In addition to visiting local D.C. landmark Ben's Chili Bowl and taking in a movie with his wife and two daughters, President-elect Barack Obama has also been busy playing with one of his daughter's Christmas gifts – a Nintendo Wii. According to The New York Times, Obama's game of choice is virtual bowling.

*A rep for Nicole Richie is denying reports that she's scheduled to guest star on "Gossip Girl." The famous daughter of Lionel Richie was rumored to follow up her guest turn on NBC's "Chuck" last October with a similarly snooty role on the season finale of "Gossip Girl," slated to air later this year. But Richie's rep tells UsWeekly.com that the claims are "not true."

*The Beastie Boys will reissue their 1989 album "Paul’s Boutique," the trio confirmed via their Web site. The Dust Brothers-produced album was not a commercial success at the time of its release, but has since grown in popularity and is currently certified double platinum. The project, which boasts over 100 samples throughout its 15 tracks, preceded the genre altering copyright lawsuit of singer Gilbert O’Sullivan (Grand Upright Music) vs. Biz Markie (Warner Bros. Records) that required sample clearance.
