US SENATE CHAPLAIN TO HOST 2009 INAUGURATION SUMMIT: Inaugural Prayer Breakfast Coalition presents concert and prayer session January 18-19
As millions prepare to converge on Washington, DC for the Inauguration of the 44th President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, the Inaugural Prayer Breakfast Coalition presents a summit in observance and preparation of one of the most historic moments in world history.
The Inauguration Summit will presents a series of events beginning with the Inauguration Celebration Gospel Concert at Free Gospel Deliverance Temple, 4703 Marlboro Pike, Capitol Heights, MD 20743 on Sunday, January 18, 2009 at 6:00 pm, featuring a host of the nation's top Gospel artists including Micah Stampley, Beverly Crawford, V3 and Lancer Clark. The following day, which ironically is Martin Luther King Jr. day, Monday, January 19, 2008 at 8:30 a.m., U.S. Senate Chaplain Dr. Barry Black will host the Inauguration Prayer Breakfast at the Hyatt Regency Capital Hill, Washington DC. Guest speakers will include Bishop Charles Blake, Bishop Vashti McKenzie, Pastor Tony Evans, and a special musical performance by Stellar Award-winning artist, Marvin Sapp.
"Standing on the basic philosophy of the inclusive nature of the Obama campaign, the concert and breakfast provide a unique experience during the inaugural week for prayer for the President-elect Obama and his family and the many issues confronting him and our country," comments Rev.
