STEVE HARVEY BACK ON 'OPRAH': Entertainer to plug book by taking questions from all-female audience; plus Kirk Franklin to guest-host radio show.(March 20, 2009)
*Syndicated radio star and best-selling author Steve Harvey's second appearance on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" will take place on Monday (March 23) before a ladies-only audience. The veteran entertainer is making a return visit to further discuss his book, "Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man." Unlike his first Oprah experience, which was part of her "Friday's Live" format on Feb. 27, Monday's appearance will last the entire hour. In addition, Harvey will make an appearance on "The Tyra Banks Show" the following day. "Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man" is Harvey’s ultimate guide for dealing with men on their terms, on their turf and in their way. He shares the secrets to unlocking the male mind, understanding his game, anticipating his moves and countering with unstoppable offense and defense. The book has remained atop the New York Times Best-Seller list for seven weeks in a row since its debut and has more than one million copies in print. It’s also being translated in 10 different languages, including German, Thai, Croatian, Solvene, Russian, Chinese, French, Czech, Korean and Serbian. In other Steve Harvey news, his radio show on Monday will feature a special guest host, gospel star Kirk Franklin. The artist, who also hosts BET's "Sunday Best," will appear on the nationally-syndicated Steve Harvey Morning Show from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. EST on March 23. Speak Out
