ESPOSITO'S 'GOSPEL HILL' GETS FESTIVAL DEBUT: Danny Glover/Angela Bassett film to open ReelWorld on April 15.

      *Actor Giancarlo Esposito's directorial debut "Gospel Hill," starring Danny Glover and Angela Bassett, will open the ninth edition of the ReelWorld Film Festival on April 15, according to the Hollywood Reporter.      

       Esposito also stars in the independent drama about a decades-old investigation into the death of a civil rights leader.  Julia Stiles, Taylor Kitsch and Nia Long round out the cast.      

       The brainchild of actress Tonya Lee Williams ("The Young and the Restless"), the Toronto showcase for culturally diverse filmmakers will close April 19 with the Bollywood romantic comedy "Aloo Chaat," directed by Robby Grewal and starring Aamna Sharrif and Aftab Shivdasani.
