*Rap duo Blazhay Blazhay (DJ PF Cuttin’ and MC Out Loud) has filed a lawsuit against Wyclef Jean claiming he illegally used their hit “Danger” in his 2007 track “Welcome to the East.”

The lawsuit, filed in Manhattan Federal Court, accuses Wyclef of violating their copyright entitlement by using the 1995 song, which itself includes samples of Jeru the Damaja’s “Come Clean” and Gwen McCrae’s 1975 hit “Rockin’ Chair,” reports Allhiphop.com.

Sony BMG Entertainment is also named as a defendant in the lawsuit. The music giant's alleged culpability stems from the song’s distribution on "Carnival Vol. II: Memoirs of an Immigrant," Wyclef’s sixth studio album.
