*Rashida Jones, currently starring opposite Paul Rudd in "I Love You, Man,"will topline a new comedy based on a spec script she wrote with an actor who will serve as her co-star.

"Celeste and Jesse Forever," co-written by Will McCormack, revolves around a young divorcing couple who try to maintain their longstanding friendship while pursuing other relationships.

Fox Atomic picked up rights to the script with Suzanne and Jennifer Todd ("Across the Universe") on board as producers via their Team Todd shingle, reports Variety.

Jones, who is best known for her stint on "The Office" before segueing to the big screen, began writing the script with McCormack in August. It marks the first script sale for the pair.

Jones, the daughter of music producer Quincy Jones and ex-wife Peggy Lipton, will next be seen on NBC's "Parks and Recreation," which premieres April 9.
