In other Halle news, the actress is in negotiations to topline "The Surrogate," a Paul Verhoeven-directed thriller for 20th Century Fox based on the 2004 novel by Kathryn Mackel.
The story centers on a couple desperate to have a child who discover that the surrogate they've hired to carry their baby is insane.
Berry is interested in playing the role of the wife, but an official deal has yet to be put on the table.
