THIRD CD RELEASE SET FOR J MOSS: Singer part of Essence Festival lineup.

     But fans don’t have to wait that long to hear his flavorful blend of traditional and contemporary gospel music. Moss will appear at the Essence Music Festival T.D. Jakes Tribute lineup and will perform at the event this Sunday, July 5, in New Orleans. And he will perform his new single, “Restored” July 22 on the Gospel Dream, the Gospel Music Channel’s talent contest.

     “This CD is about the ups and downs of my life. Going through challenges that test your faith, test your marriage and even test your will to live really change you,” Moss told his label Verity Gospel Music Group.

     Since the 2004 release of his first CD, The J Moss Project, Moss has become an artist to watch.

     Moss pays homage to his favorite singer, Nat King Cole, on the jazz-inspired “Anointing,” and offers a sanctified twist on the colloquial response to life’s unexpected challenges on “God Happens,” which are two of the singles on the ten-track PAJAM-produced disk. Just James is due in stores August 25th.
