*The 2005 Ice Cube film "Are We There Yet?" is being adapted as a television series for TBS with former "Everybody Hates Chris" star Terry Crews in the lead role.

TBS has ordered 10 episodes of the program from distributor Debmar-Mercury, with an option for an additional 90 episodes, according to the Hollywood Reporter. This was the same deal under which Tyler Perry secured deals for his TBS sitcoms "House of Payne" and "Meet the Browns."

Due to premiere in June 2010, the series will star Crews as Nick, a playboy who attempts to woo divorcee Suzanne by offering to drive her two children to be reunited with their mom.

"Terry Crews is the perfect person to replace me as Nick," Cube says. "His physical comedy is undeniable."

Cube will have a recurring role on the series, which is based on the 2005 movie co-starring Nia Long as Suzanne. The film grossed $82 million in North America alone and sold 3.7 million DVDs.

Meanwhile, BET announced in April that Crews will star in his own reality show for the network this fall.

"Crews Control" will follow the former "Everybody Hates Chris" star, his wife, Rebecca, and their five kids as they carry out their daily routine.
