ITTY BITTY BITS: Aretha's new agents; Williams Academy's '7 to 7' mixer; Tatyana Ali for Opportunity Initiative; Sean Paul on 'GMA.'

      *Aretha Franklin has just signed with talent agency WME (William Morris Endeavor) for representation, reports Variety. The Queen of Soul is due to release a new album later this summer.       

       *The Venus and Serena Williams Tennis Academy in Los Angeles will host a "7 to 7" Tennis Mixer on Friday (July 24) at the Rancho Cienega Sports Complex’s Arthur Ashe Tennis Courts (5001 Rodeo Blvd., adjacent to Dorsey High School). From 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. tennis enthusiasts of all levels will enjoy a summer night of singles and doubles in Baldwin Hills. The event will feature music, a potluck, tennis clinic, and games aside from the opportunity to play tennis.  All ages are welcome, however children under 18 must have parental permission.  Rackets will be available.  The cost is $10 per person with funds benefiting the Academy.        *Actress Tatyana Ali, will be joined by Southern California civic leaders, corporate partners and supporters to launch the Millennium Momentum Foundation's National City of Opportunity Initiative later this month in Hollywood. The program seeks to engage collegiate institutions, high schools, and community-based organizations to promote leadership development training, mentoring, volunteerism, and job opportunities to benefit graduating high school seniors, aspiring college students and current college students seeking careers in public policy and other public service fields. Click here for more info.

      *Sean Paul is scheduled to perform in New York's Central Park on Friday as part of "Good Morning America's" summer concert series. The dancehall artist will be supporting his upcoming album "Imperial Blaze," due Aug. 18 on VP/Atlantic Records.  The concert is open to the public. Arrival time is 6 a.m. at Central Park's Rumsey Play Field (enter at East 69th and 5th Avenue). The concert ends at 9 a.m.
