BEYONCE IS BILLBOARD'S WOMAN OF THE YEAR: Singer to be honored at magazine's annual Women in Music event.

*With a little over four months left to go in 2009, Billboard has already announced that its woman of the year is none other than Beyonce Knowles.
The singer will be honored by the industry publication at its annual Women in Music event, on Oct. 2 in New York City.
Past "Woman of the Year" honorees were Ciara and Reba McEntire.
Beyonce will be on hand to accept her award, which reflects a year in which she released the smash hit "Single Ladies," sang at President Obama's inauguration, had a No. 1 movie with "Obsessed" and embarked on an arena tour.
