CHART TOPPING RECEPTION: Brian Courtney Wilson rises on Billboard.
*Brian Courtney Wilson's single "All I Need" is holding its own in the top 10 radio play list.
The first release from his debut CD "Just Love," the single currently is over two million at gospel radio stations and the album is up 12% this week in sales with reorders remaining strong at retail.
The Spirit Rising/Music World Entertainment release moves up one spot to #12 this week on the Billboard Top Gospel Album charts after debuting at #2 this past June.
Commenting on the power of the single, BET's "Lift Every Voice" show host and nationally-syndicated radio personality, Cory "Coco Brother" Condrey says:
"The Lord has given Brian Courtney Wilson a simple but needed song. All I need...All we need is Jesus. He's more than enough."
The Just Love Movement is continuing with the follow-up single, "Already Here" moving up four spots this week to #18 on the Billboard Top Gospel Singles chart with over two million in audience at gospel radio, making Wilson one of the few artists with two strong and active singles in the Top 10 and Top 20 respectively.
Wilson plans to perform in his hometown at the Houston Arena on October 23. Opening for GRAMMY® Award winning gospel artist Smokie Norful, this will be Wilson's first appearance in Houston accompanied by his band. Then Wilson will travel to Philadelphia for the Philadelphia Brotherhood Rescue Mission fundraiser at the Penn Memorial Baptist Church on November 7 and an in-store performance at J&R Music World in New York City's financial district on November 9.
