*In an interview Tuesday "Today's" Matt Lauer, Tracy Morgan tried his best to explain away harsh comments about two of his former "Saturday Night Live" colleagues that are mentioned in his upcoming book.

"It's not that I don't have nice things to say," Morgan said when pressed about his "f*** 'em" comments to Cheri Oteri and Chris Kattan last week. "It just never was there."

"We never had a relationship, I don't have anything against anybody, but what happened happened…at any job there are differences. At any job, wherever you go, there are gonna be people who don't get along, who don't speak."

In a released clip from the audiobook of his new memoir, "I Am the New Black," Morgan slammed his former colleagues, pointing to their careers and claiming nowadays neither could so much as "get arrested."

Meanwhile, Morgan is teaming with fellow Brooklynite Spike Lee to produce a concert film of the funnyman performing stand-up.

According to WENN, the project will be shot in a similar way to Passing Strange, the musical Lee filmed on Broadway and released earlier this year.

Morgan is already warning moviegoers to expect a more X-rated brand of comedy than the humor displayed weekly on NBC's "30 Rock."

"My stand-up is nothing like the TV show. My sense of humor is a turkey, and I pull it out of the oven and baste it in reality," he told GQ magazine. "I talk a lot about sex, because I'm good at it."
