ACTOR SAM JONES ARRESTED IN DRUG BUST: Cops say former 'ER' star was trying to sling oxycodone.

*Actor Sam Jones, who played the younger brother of Mekhi Phifer's character Dr. Pratt on NBC's "ER," was arrested Thursday morning on accusations that he conspired to deal more than 10,000 pills of oxycodone.
TMZ.com is reporting that Jones, who also played Clark Kent's best friend on the CW's "Smalville," was taken into custody by DEA agents who claim he was a "co-conspirator" in a series of major drug deals in 2008.
According to documents filed in federal court, the DEA claims Jones was the "Hollywood connection" in a plot to illegally purchase and distribute oxycodone.
The TV star has been charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute. If convicted, Jones faces up to 20 years in federal prison.
