*Smokey Robinson will deliver the keynote speech of the South By Southwest (SXSW) festival in Austin, Texas, which is scheduled to take place on March 17-21, reports NME. The event includes performances all across the city, as well as lectures and seminars related to music. Lou Reed was the keynote speaker last year, as bands including Metallica, Jane's Addiction, Kanye West and Black Lips played live.The 2010 line-up has yet to be announced.

Blige and "Glee’s" Lea Michele will take part in the 2009 Film & TV Music Conference on Oct 29 and 30 at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles (9876 Wilshire Blvd.).
