*The two teens accused of slaying the parents of a Chicago-area TV host have were charged with murder on Thursday.

Gregory Brooks Jr., 18, and Reo Thompson, 17, are each charged with four counts of murder in the perpetration of a burglary and two counts of murder in the perpetration of a robbery.

The bodies of Ruby McClendon, 76, and Milton McClendon, 78 -- parents of CLTV host Garrard McClendon -- were found Oct. 19 fatally shot in a Cook County forest preserve near Calumet City. Both suffered gunshot wounds in the head.

The two teens were arrested over the weekend and had been held on charges of auto theft, robbery, burglary and confinement. They are accused of robbing the couple from Hammond, stealing their 1997 Cadillac Eldorado and returning to "finish them."

As the murder charges were announced, a Lake County judge approved a defense request for a gag order in the case.

Both were expected to appear in court on the charges this morning, prosecutors said.

Meanwhile, Garrard McClendon said Friday that he has forgiven their killers.

"Yes, my parents were murdered, but I have already forgiven the perpetrators," the CLTV host told the Chicago Tribune. "I just want them to face justice."

Garrard McClendon speaks out about the death of his parents:
