*Reverend Jesse L. Jackson, Sr. Founder and President of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, will address National PTA members as the Association convenes its 4th annual Emerging Minority Leaders Conference in Atlanta, GA (November 6-8). Jackson will deliver a keynote address on the opening evening of the conference, which takes place at the Sheraton, 165 Courtland Street NE-Atlanta. This year’s conference, titled “Destination Leadership IV: No Leader Left Behind,” is designed to prepare ethnic minority parents and caregivers from across the country to assume leadership roles in their local communities and schools. *Wyclef Jean is teaming with the Western Union Company to officially launch the "Random Acts of Giving" campaign at Western Union's flagship store (1440 Broadway - between 41st and 40th St.) A free Wyclef Jean jam session will be held following the press event at the Nokia Theatre in Times Square on Monday, Nov. 9. Also, Wyclef and Stewart Stockdale will walk through Times Square and give away gifts to passerby between 11:45 a.m. and noon. *Taylor Swift makes light of her Kanye West encounter at the MTV Video Music Awards in a new promo for this weekend's "Saturday Night Live." After announcing that she will be the host, cast member Bill Hader tells her, "Whoops, Kanye West just called. He thinks Beyonce should host instead."
