Today’s ‘Live Better With Willie Jolley’ Tip: Decide to Be Happy
I recently saw a commercial on television that featured a senior citizen that said she had two choices every morning! She could choose to be happy or she could choose to be sad. She said she chose to be happy because happiness was a choice.
Every day brings a brand new opportunity and how you receive it is up to you. Some people wake up with a positive attitude and a positive state of mind and say ‘‘Good morning, Lord,’’ while others wake up with a negative attitude and a negative state of mind and say, ‘‘Good Lord, it’s morning!’’ Whatever perspective you choose is up to you. I suggest that you wake up and say ‘‘Good morning, Lord,’’ because every day you wake up truly IS a good morning. If you don’t believe it, just try missing one!
When you wake up, simply count your blessings and choose to be happy. It really is your choice! Abraham Lincoln said, “We are about as happy as we choose to be!” Choose today to be happy!
