SAN DIEGO CHARGERS DB UNDER INVESTIGATION: Antonio Cromartie alleged to have hit someone with a bottle of bubbly.

*San Diego police are investigating a claim that San Diego Chargers defensive back Antonio Cromartie cracked someone over the head with a champagne bottle at a bar just hours after the team clinched first place in the AFC West.
Detective Gary Hassen says officers answered a report of a fight at Bar West in Pacific Beach shortly before 1:30 a.m. Monday, according to the Associated Press.
Hassen says a witness claimed Cromartie threw a champagne bottle but the Pro Bowl back says it slipped from his hand. A man suffered a cut to the back of his head but nobody was hospitalized or arrested.
Hassen says Cromartie is under investigation for assault with a deadly weapon. The incident occurred hours after the Chargers beat the Denver Broncos 32-3.
