*The legal matter between 50 Cent and Taco Bell ended on Monday when the two parties reached a confidential settlement over a commercial that used the rapper's name to promote the restaurant's value menu.

The rap star, born Curtis Jackson, sued Taco Bell for $1 million dollars in damages over a June 2008 promotion that offered 50 Cent $10,000 to change his name to 79 Cent, 89 Cent or 99 Cent for one day.

50 accused Taco Bell of using his name and likeness without expressed permission and for making him the “star of a nationwide campaign” without his permission.
