HAROLD PERRINEAU 'JUMPS' TO NEW ROLE: 'Lost' star joins Nicolas Cage and January Jones in dramatic thriller.(December 4, 2009)
*Harold Perrineau has joined Nicolas Cage, January Jones and Guy Pearce in Endgame Entertainment's dramatic thriller "Hungry Rabbit Jumps," reports Variety.
The story follows a high school chemistry teacher, played by Cage, whose wife is the victim of a brutal crime which leads him to align himself with an underground vigilante organization. Perrineau will play Cage's friend and boss, an ex-cop turned high school principal whose loyalties are tested. Tobey Maguire is producing the $30 million-budgeted film alongside Endgame's James Stern and indie producer Ram Bergman. Roger Donaldson ("The Bank Job") is directing from Robert Tannen's script. Perrineau just wrapped Sony's "30 Days of Night: Dark Days" and recently starred in "Felon" opposite Val Kilmer and Stephen Dorff. Big screen credits include the features "28 Weeks Later," the second and third "Matrix" pics and the lead role in "Oz." Speak Out
