*Officials at Nevada's Lovelock Correctional Center are denying reports that its star inmate, O.J. Simpson, was the victim of an old-fashioned jailhouse beatdown.
Simpson, serving a 33-year sentence for masterminding a 2007 memorabilia heist, was rumored to have been hospitalized after being attacked in a racially-motivated brawl.
But the assault and Simpson's supposed hospitalization are news to Lovelock prison authorities, who insist the retired NFL star is still incarcerated without incident, reports local news station KPIX-TV.
