ABC'S GIBSON TO INTERVIEW OBAMA: Exiting 'World News' anchor to interview president tonight – two days before his last broadcast.

     *ABC News' Charles Gibson has booked an interview with President Barack Obama that will tape today and air tonight on "World News" and across ABC News platforms, the network announced Tuesday.

      "As Gibson prepares to depart the 'World News' anchor chair on Friday, he will sit down with the President to discuss a wide range of issues, including Afghanistan, the economy, and the President’s reflections on his first year in office," a press release stated.

      Gibson is also scheduled to anchor tonight's "World News" from the White House.

      Additional excerpts from the interview will be featured across ABC News’ platforms.
