DEBBI GETS MORE, AGAIN: Debbi Morgan to star in Lifetime series.

*Debbi Morgan will star alongside Lea Thompson in the Lifetime Television series, "For The People." The premise revolves around the interworkings of the LA district attorney. Set to premier on July 21, the series will also feature A. Martinez and Cecilia Suarez. Morgan plays Lora Gibson, the newly-elected conservative African American district attorney. The ideology of new DA (Morgan) and the appointed officials she brings with her, clashes with Chief Deputy Assistant District Attorney Camille Paris (Thompson) and the dedicated attorneys and staff who work in the office. Series creator and executive producer Catherine LePard says, "The essence of the show is these two women and their conviction and strong approach to their jobs, as well as how that passion resonates from them to their colleagues."
