*During First Lady Michelle Obama’s visit to BET’s “106 & Park” on Tuesday, she answered a question from the audience about her biggest fashion regret.
“Oh, that’s a tough one. Biggest fashion regret? I don’t have an answer to this one,” Obama, 49, said. “I’m kind of always happy with what I’m wearing.”
But then, she remembered.
First Lady Michelle Obama stepped off Air Force One wearing shorts in Arizona on Aug. 16, 2009.
“Sometimes I forget I’m the first lady and I’m running around in shorts,” she confessed. “I know the first time we went on a family vacation I had shorts on getting off of Air Force One. That created a huge stink because people were like, ‘She’s wearing shorts getting off of Air Force One.’ And I thought, ‘We’re on vacation! ‘ So, I’ve avoided shorts getting off of Air Force One.”
The shorts controversy went down in August 2009, when the Obamas traveled to Arizona to see the Grand Canyon. The mom of two was photographed stepping off the plane wearing gray shorts, a shirt, open button-up shirt and sneakers.
Also during her appearance on BET, Mrs. Obama candidly revealed the one thing she misses most about her life before becoming First Lady.
“Anonymity,” the Illinois native said. “Being able to walk out your front door on your own without agents and people following you around. I just long to walk out that front door, go to CVS and buy some toothpaste! And nobody would notice me!”

FLOTUS will share her personal story of the pivotal role education played in her life, according to BET. She’ll also talk about the President’s “North Star” Goal, which aims to see America reclaim its position as the nation with the highest proportion of college graduates in the world by 2020.
The “106” audience will include local New York City high school and college students, while show co-hosts Bow Wow and Keshia Chanté will be on hand to interview Mrs. Obama alongside discussion moderator Jeff Johnson.
The special one hour episode with Michelle Obama begins at 6 p.m.
*Swizz Beatz is brushing off reports that he has fallen behind on his taxes, insisting he has the documents to prove he is up to date with his payments.
Reports surfaced on Monday suggesting New York authorities were chasing the producer, real name Kasseem Dean, for failing to pay $98,246 in unpaid taxes from 2010. He was also accused of owing $2.6 million to the Internal Revenue Service for federal tax debts.
But Alicia Keys’ husband was adamant the invoices have already been settled and he’s confident the facts will speak for themselves.
“I don’t have no tax issues,” he said on BET’s 106 & Park. “And if I have $100,000 tax issues then I’m in serious trouble. I’m not really going to speak, but everyone will see what it is. At this time I will feel no need to speak… but the people who put it out there, they’re going to have to retract that due to the facts.”
The former co-host of BETs “106 & Park” has just been named the official new co-host for E! News, teaming with new mom Giuliana Rancic on the weekday broadcast.
“I’ve always had a passion for the wide spectrum of pop culture that E! News covers so well; I can’t wait to get started,” says Jenkins, who has also appeared in such films as “Think Like a Man,” “Burlesque” and “Sparkle.”
“I’ve had a great career so far, and it¹s all been building toward this. And then getting to work with great people like Giuliana and the entire E! News team just makes this seem like an even more perfect opportunity.”
