*Well, in her mind it’s not shade.
She was simply speaking about public knowledge.
And she’s sticking by it.
“We were really, really cool friends and then I found out that he had a girlfriend. Then, I had to have him after that, and I got him,” Tamar recently told talk-show host Bethenny Frankel.
Vincent had every opportunity to pursue Tamar because he was working with sister Toni Braxton when they met. But Tamar said he didn’t make his move right away.
“He kinda stalked me since I was like 15,” Tamar said. “I would see him sporadically through life.” Vincent then used studio time to ask Tamar for her telephone number.
“He was really slick about it,” she said.
Now the couple are admittedly happily married and recently welcomed their first child, Logan Vincent Herbert. His initials as LV, similar to Louis Vuitton so Tamar calls him her “designer baby.”
“It gives me lots of reasons to buy Louis Vuitton,” said Tamar who also got her son’s name from a popular television soap opera, the fictional Brooke Logan of “Bold & the Beautiful.”
When Tamar spoke to Sister 2 Sister she said that motherhood changed her as she now makes her son the priority, but reality TV has changed her, too.
“I thought that I was giving [my sisters] my opinion,” the “Braxton Family Values” star said. “I found out I was hurting their feelings instead of helping them. So, I watch how I talk to them now. I talk to them as grown women, not just as sisters.”

*With a post on Instagram, Tamar Braxton revealed the name of her newborn son I Logan Vincent Herbert.
“Happy Father’s Day to the love of my life, my best friend, my husband Vincent Herbert! Our son Logan Vincent Herbert & I are proud to share this day with you!! We love you soooooo much!!” she posted Sunday evening, along with the above pic of the baby grabbing Vincent’s finger.
Braxton gave birth to her son on Thursday, June 6, and soon after posted a photo of three blue teddy bears surrounded by balloons with the caption, “He’s here!” on Instagram.
The singer, 36, and husband Vince Herbert first announced their pregnancy in March, when she was seven months along. The couple, married in 2008, have yet to reveal photos of the newborn’s face, but there is sure to be plenty of baby footage when the couple’s show “Tamar & Vince” returns to WE tv on Sept 5.
*New parents Tamar Braxton and Vince Herbert will return for a second season of their We tv series “Tamar & Vince.”
The network announced Tuesday that the “Braxton Family Values” spinoff focused on the family’s most outspoken sister will see a second season premiere on Sept. 5
We tv also announced the renewal of “Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?” for a fourth run to air in early 2014.
“Tamar, Joan and Melissa are talented, refreshing women that we’re delighted to have on WE tv for new seasons of their popular shows,” said network senior vp of original production and development Lauren Gellert. “These are real women dealing with real issues in the scrutiny of the spotlight with style and grace, and we are so happy WE tv viewers will again be along for these entertaining rides.”
“Tamar & Vince,” produced for the network by Magical Elves, delivered a gross 5.6 million viewers during its freshman run.
*Childbirth is fast approaching for reality star and singer Tamar Braxton.
The soon-to-be mother spoke with theYBF and said that she’s thinking about what kind of mother she’ll be, taking into consideration her own mother’s style.
“I think if I follow her blueprint, I’ll be alright,” said Braxton. “My parents did a great job raising us. We’ve grown up to respect our parents and respect others. We get into little tiffs but we always make up. Those are the values I’d like to instill in my child.”
As far as her fashion sense, she’s going for the modern look with Alexander McQueen.
“I call it ‘maternity’ McQueen… because a lot of his things are stretchy,” said Braxton. “A lot of BCBG. I refuse to wear anything uncomfortable.”
Besides that, she admitted to Essence.com a few weeks ago that she and her hubby, Vincent Herbert, aren’t exactly ready for their baby (but what new parent is).
“We’re a lot behind,” said Tamar. Vincent added, “We’re waiting for Toni Braxton and some of her other sisters to figure out all that type of stuff because they really want to be a part of the baby thing.”
